So I just checked out the IMDB Fall TV schedule, and here's a few things I noticed, feeling quite annoyed:
1: I already knew about this one, but still, come on: "Viva Laughlin" - a crappy remake (which got cancelled, I might add) of the BBC's fabulous "Blackpool". Same characters, same storyline, different actors and more cheesy and set in America.
2: I know a few of you will hate this one lots, although you probably already knew it: "Life on Mars" is being remade - same characters, same concept, different actors, set in America.
3: Now I loved this one when it was on BBC - now they're fecking making it their own AND they changed the title (slightly): "Worst Week" is the remake of the 3 series run "Worst Week of my Life" starring Rob Brydon, except - just not in this version.
I'm sure there's more, and yes it could be said that this are being made because British accents won't appeal to the US audience....ok then, I'm off to remake Ugly Betty buh baaaaaiiiiiii!!!!

WHY COULDN'T SHE STAY DEAD?
I found her really annoying (and no - that's not because she got to act alongside and get kissed on the head by David Tennant) and she's not a character I'd like see in future episodes. As the IMDB boards say - would've had a better impact if she had stayed dead as well!
